2024 Great North American Total Solar Eclipse 1 AVDP Ounce (oz) .999 Fine Copper Medallion/Round in Black Pouch

On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The total solar eclipse will begin over the South Pacific Ocean. Weather permitting, the first location in continental North America that will experience totality is Mexico’s Pacific coast at around 11:07 a.m. PDT.  These collectible copper medallions commemorate the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.

On April 8th, 2024 The Great North American Total Solar Eclipse passes through Winchester, Indiana in the Path of Totality at 3:10 pm!  Since SilverTowne is located in Winchester, Indiana we decided to commemorate the celestial event. This medallion features an outline of the state of Indiana with a star representing Winchester, Indiana and lines indicating the path of totality of the state.  The date "04.08.2024" marking the date of the solar eclipse is found at the top along with stylized words "GREAT NORTH AMERICAN TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE WINCHESTER INDIANA PATH OF TOTALITY" can be found to the left of the state.  Pulling the whole design together is the indication of the solar eclipse crescent shape curving the top and left area with a flash of light at the top indicated in a star burst. On the Reverse the SilverTowne logo is the central focus with the website url "WWW.SILVERTOWNE.COM", "WINCHESTER INDIANA" and the words "MADE IN THE USA" for the design. "ONE AVDP OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER" designates the weight and purity of this medallion, the SilverTowne Mint privy mark of the pick-axe can also be located bottom center.
