1976 San Francisco Silver-Clad Kennedy Half Dollar Brilliant Uncirculated Condition

The 1976-S Silver-Clad Kennedy Half Dollar is a commemorative coin issued by the United States Mint to celebrate the Bicentennial of the United States. The obverse of the coin features the portrait of President John F. Kennedy, designed by Gilroy Roberts. The inscriptions include "LIBERTY" around the top edge, "IN GOD WE TRUST" below Kennedy's chin, and the dual date "1776-1976" at the bottom, marking the Bicentennial anniversary. The reverse, designed by Seth G. Huntington, depicts Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the site where the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were both signed. The inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" around the top, "200 YEARS OF FREEDOM" below that, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" above the image of Independence Hall, and "HALF DOLLAR" at the bottom. The reverse design is unique to the Bicentennial edition and differs from the standard Kennedy Half Dollar reverse.
