Half Dollar Kennedy Coins

Half Dollar Coins are just as fun to seek out and collect as more common circulating coins. The obverse of Kennedy Half Dollars was designed by Gilroy Roberts, and depicts a forceful bust of John F. Kennedy’s profile. The reverse of the coin features the presidential coat of arms (consisting of a heraldic eagle with a shield on its breast, holding a bundle of 13 arrows and a symbolic olive branch) surrounded by a ring of 50 stars, and was designed by Frank Gasparro. Kennedy Half Dollars have been minted from 1964 to date.
