The 2023 Morgan Silver Dollar MS70 FDI NGC is a stunning tribute to one of America’s most beloved coin designs. Struck in .999 fine silver by the Philadelphia Mint, this modern release continues the legacy of the classic George T. Morgan design, first introduced in 1878.

The obverse (heads side) features Liberty in profile. A cap, flora, and crown incused with the word “LIBERTY” adorn her head, while 13 stars (for the Original 13 Colonies) , “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and the year of issuance encircle her. The reverse (tails) depicts an eagle with outstretched wings clasping arrows and an olive branch, accompanied by a wreath. Reverse inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
