An annual sovereign coin release from the Perth Mint, the 2025 year-date marks the 35th anniversary of the coin issue. The 2025 reverse design portrays a Graceful kookaburra perched on a small tree branch, in the background radiant lines symbolizing a sun burst can be seen. The words "KOOKABURRA", "35th ANNIVERSARY", "2025 1oz 9999 SILVER" and the "P" Perth mint mint-mark appear on the reverse as well as a privy mark that pays tribute to the original Kookaburra coin design. The obverse features the depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the monetary denomination. Each coin has a $1 Face Value (FV) which is backed by the Australian Government.
