2024 Cameroon Silver Gero Crucifix Gilded Coin in Original Government Packaging (OGP) with Certificate of Authenticity (COA) included

The Gero Cross or Gero Crucifix of around 965–970, is the oldest large sculpture of the crucified Christ north of the Alps, and has always been displayed in Cologne Cathedral in Germany. It is carved in oak, and painted and partially gilded, commissioned by Gero, Archbishop of Cologne, who died in 976.

This coin is a replica of the Real Gero cross located in Cologne Cathedral. Jesus is made from 1oz .999 Fine Silver, while the background is White Brass gilded. On the obverse of the coin it depicts a coin in the middle with inscriptions of the issuing country, Republique Du Cameroun, the denomination and the year. And then on down the cross you have the title, metal content and purity.
