PRODUCT DETAILS/DESCRIPTION
1893 Isabella Quarter Fine to Very Fine Condition
The 1893 Isabella Quarter in F/VF (Fine to Very Fine) condition is a notable piece of U.S. numismatic history. This coin was the first commemorative quarter issued by the United States Mint, created for the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago to honor Queen Isabella of Spain, who funded Christopher Columbus's voyage to the New World.
1893 Isabella Quarter F/VF
The obverse of the Isabella Quarter features a portrait of Queen Isabella, designed by Charles E. Barber. In F/VF condition, the coin shows moderate to light wear, particularly on the highest points, such as Isabella's crown and facial features. Despite the wear, significant details, like the lettering and design elements, remain clear and distinct.
