1899 Silver Barber Half Dollar AU55 PCGS
In AU55 (About Uncirculated 55) condition, this 1899 Barber Half Dollar shows only light wear on the highest points of the design. The coin retains much of its original luster, and the details are well-defined. On the obverse, the intricate details of Liberty's hair, cap, and the laurel wreath are still sharp, with only minor flattening on the most raised areas, such as the tips of the wreath and the hair curls. The date "1899" at the bottom remains clear and crisp.
