1861 Civil War Date Liberty Seated Dime Good to Very Good Condition
The 1861 Liberty Seated Dime in G/VG (Good to Very Good) condition is a fascinating piece of American numismatic history, especially considering the turbulent times during which it was minted. The obverse (front) of the coin features Liberty seated on a rock, holding a liberty pole with a Phrygian cap. The reverse (back) displays a wreath encircling the denomination "ONE DIME" and the mint mark if present.

In G/VG condition, the coin will show moderate wear but with the major design elements still visible. Liberty's figure may show some wear, especially on the high points such as the head, arm, and shield, but the overall outline and some details should remain discernible. On the reverse, the wreath and lettering may also exhibit wear, but they should still be legible.
