On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. The total solar eclipse will begin over the South Pacific Ocean. Weather permitting, the first location in continental North America that will experience totality is Mexico’s Pacific coast at around 11:07 a.m. PDT. These coins were approved by NASA to celebrate and commemorate the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.

With a low mintage of just 1,000, this coin features a colorized striking image of North America from a satellite view, showing where the Total Eclipse will be most visible from and where it stretches from. On the Reverse an Astronaut can be seen on the moon by an American Flag, on top of that there is a Bald eagle. There are also monetary designations showing the coin's face value is $10 in the Mesa Grande Sovereign Nation.
