This custom minted Buffalo Nickel Replica silver medallion is a customer favorite minted at the SilverTowne Mint in Winchester, Indiana. This year’s design, and the only Buffalo Replica 1oz silver medallion design available this year, will feature a special privy mark commemorating SilverTowne’s 75th Anniversary! Limited to production for just one year, this piece will be something to add to your silver stacks!
The obverse depicts a design reminiscent of the Indian Head or Buffalo Nickel. The motto LIBERTY is curved along the upper right rim with the year and date range (1949-2024) featured at the bottom. Also featured at the bottom to the right is the special privy mark of the SilverTowne logo and 75 YEARS. SilverTowne’s mint mark pickaxe logo is also seen towards the bottom.
The reverse features the bison/buffalo in the center with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM inscribed at the top. The weight (1 OZ.) and purity (.999 FINE SILVER) are designated at the bottom.
