PRODUCT DETAILS/DESCRIPTION
2001 (West Point - no mint mark) Silver American Eagle Dale Earnhardt Jr Colorized Brilliant Uncirculated Coin
The American Silver Eagle is a one-ounce bullion coin with a face value of one dollar. The obverse has a modified rendition of Adolph A. Weinman's Liberty Walking design used on half dollars from 1916 through 1947, except this time a colorized image of Dale Earnhardt Jr and his red NASCAR with the number 8 on it is put over top of the normal design. The reverse design from 1986 to early 2021 is a heraldic eagle by John Mercanti. A new Flying Eagle design by Emily Damstra was introduced in late 2021. The mintages below are the most recent official data.
