The United States Mint will release its 2023 Proof American Silver Eagle from San Francisco today beginning at 12pm EST. The coin will be available for $80.00.
This iconic design will be available in one of the American Silver Eagle Program’s collector versions from the U.S. Mint. Struck in .999 fine silver, the one Troy ounce silver Proof coin features the classic Walking Liberty design on the obverse and the newly updated eagle reverse. The coin will feature the “S” mint mark representing San Francisco and come in an elegant black presentation box accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Also included in the design is an enhanced security feature to combat counterfeiting. This feature is enabled on the reeded edge.
Household limits are set at 25 initially with no mintage or product limit available.
