In 2021 the Norwegian Government and many other government agencies raided a mansion in Norway containing many things including 70,000 2018 dated Silver American Eagles. A group of crooks were found to be laundering dirty money by buying Silver dollars and hiding them. And 10,000 of those Silver Coins were purchased at an auction in Norway and then given to NGC to be graded.

This SAE is Certified by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) to be Mint State (perfect) 70 quality.

The obverse design features Adolph A. Weinman’s full–length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the American flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. Inscriptions are “LIBERTY,” “2018,” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.”

The reverse design features a heraldic eagle with shield, an olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and “1 OZ. FINE SILVER – ONE DOLLAR.”
