The Royal Canadian Mint's Gold Maple Leaf, GML, coins are among the world's most popular pure gold coins with millions sold since their introduction in 1979. Gold Maples are also the first gold bullion coin that achieved the heightened standard of .9999 purity. 2024 marks the first year where King Charles III makes his debut on the obverse of these coins.

The 1oz Gold Maple Leaf features enhanced security called Bullion DNA which is an anti-counterfeiting technology that makes every die used to produce these GMLs have a laser micro-engraved security mark which can be verified with the Bullion DNA Reader and software.
