The design includes the inscriptions "LIBERTY" at the top, "IN GOD WE TRUST" in two lines on either side of Liberty's neck, and the date "1927" at the bottom. The reverse showcases a majestic bald eagle at rest, clutching an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing peace. The eagle is perched on a rock inscribed with the word "PEACE."
