The 2017 America The Beautiful Quarters consist of the Effigy Mounds National Monument (Iowa), Frederick Douglass National Historic Site (Washington, DC), Ozark National Scenic Riverways (Missouri), Ellis Island - Statue of Liberty National Monument (New Jersey), and George Rogers Clark National Historical Park (Indiana).

All of the coins are struck in proof quality at the San Francisco Mint and has the S mintmark on the obverse. The packaging was designed for 2017 featuring the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park on the front and a split image on the back featuring all five sites from the 2017 quarters.
