The obverse features the Royal Canadian Mint Logo with the purity and weight designation of "1 oz .9999 FINE GOLD OR PUR" along with the bar's unique serial number then, much like the Gold Maple Leaf bullion, these gold bars feature the micro laser-engraved maple leaf that has a micro-engraved  date that can be see under magnification on each side of the serial number (the date/numbers denote the year it was manufactured). This is a design feature that adds to it's security and authenticity. The reverse then features RCM logo repeated several times in a vertical layout with the center one appearing proof-like.
