In one hand, held high in the air above her head, she holds her torch and in the other she holds a tablet evoking the law.

The obverse design features a close-up of the Statue of Liberty's proud face encircled by thirteen stars, representing the original thirteen colonies. On the reverse you'll find a rendering of the torch, along with inscription of "LIBERTY" with stars and the weight and purity designation of "1 TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER".
