2014 West Point (W) Silver American Eagle (SAE) MS70 Burnished NGC Brown Label

The term "burnished" refers to the specialized minting process used to create these coins. Although they are similar in appearance to the ordinary Uncirculated (BU) Silver American Eagle Bullion Coins, the burnished coins can be distinguished by the addition of a 'W' mintmark and on the reverse and the satin-like field behind the frosted features on the coin. Burnished SAEs are made expressly for collectors and sill contain 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
