1981 San Francisco (S) Proof Set Type 1

With an official overall mintage of 4,063,083, 1981 Type 1 Proof sets include 1 each of the following: Susan B. Anthony (SBA) Dollar, Kennedy Half Dollar, Washington Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, Lincoln Memorial Cent in a protective hard plastic case with a red background and a black outer box/sleeve. What is the difference between a Type 1 and a Type 2 1981 Proof set, the Type 1 "S" mint-mark is more 'bulbous' on the outer curves of the S where as the Type 2 S mint marks (less common) are thinner.
