1916 D Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar Good-Very Good condition (90% Silver)

This type was designed by Adolph A. Weinman, whose monogram, AW, appears under the tips of the tail feathers. On the 1916 coins and some of the 1917 coins the mintmark is located on the obverse below the motto. The Mint also created a 2016 gold Liberty Walking half dollar at a smaller dimension.

In G/VG condition, the coin will show moderate wear but should still retain most major design elements. Lady Liberty's figure may be worn on the high points, and some details, such as the date and lettering, may be partially worn or faint. On the reverse, the eagle's feathers and other details may be flattened due to wear, but the overall design should still be discernible.
