San Francisco Mint Certified Silver American Eagles
Due to increased demand for Silver American Eagles in recent years, the United States Mint began producing the silver eagle coins at the San Francisco Mint again in 2011 (something they hadn't done since 1998). Prior to this, the silver eagles were only being produced at the United States Mint's West Point facility. Silver eagles produced at the San Francisco Mint do not have a mint mark on them, so the only way to ensure the coin came from the mint (outside of them being sealed in a monster box) is to buy the coin graded and certfied by a third-party grading company. That is one of the reasons certified silver eagles from the San Francisco Mint are so popular with collectors. Get yours today!
